through the smooth stage used for shakedown the previous day. Back again for the final run through Waste Management stage (SS3). It is quite dusty and we even come upon a deer on one section as cane be seen around
4:30 in the in-car video. Our goal for the first day is, as usual, just to get the car through the stages as intact as possible. Several other teams are DNF’d by the rough stages. The day ends with a run through the Super Special Stage at Tioga county fairgrounds in front of a few thousand spectators. The first of the two regional rallies in which we are competing continues on Saturday morning in the nearby state forest roads - a joy to drive and we have a lot of fun. We finish in 10th place overall and 4th in class for the Finger Lakes regional rally.

Our crew for this event is Brad Erdman and Mike Hunsinger with assistance from Duncan Fowler and Misty Branach. They do a great job getting us back on the stages after each service. Thanks guys!

Sherwood Forest Rally, the second regional rally begins after the service following SS7 and we manage 11th overall and 6th in class this time. The 16 mile long “Mine” Stage (SS13) is recorded in the in-car video above for you to get a sense of the great roads at this event. We catch up to and pass another the team ahead of us around the 10 minute mark in the video.

All in all a good rally.
